Paypal Services for Seychelles

We are a Seychelles registered business and have just set up an "ecommerce" website.  Our bank does not offer a payment gateway option and we would like to use Paypal in order to accept card payments.  According to both Paypal and WooCommerce they both recognise the Seychelles Rupees currency but our developer keeps telling us they cannot integrate Paypal.  The idea is that our customers will be invoiced and pay us in Seychelles Rupees, which will be converted at prevailing exchange rates into Euros and paid into our Paypal Euro account.  We can then transfer from the Paypal Euro account into our Seychelles Euro account.  Is there any reason why this cannot work?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! After a bit of research, it looks like PayPal doesn't support the Seychellois Rupee for sending and receiving funds. You can view what currencies PayPal supports here.

I just received a message from a moderator saying that Paypal does not support the Seychelles Rupee for the sending or receiving of funds.  That is not what I asked.  I want the Seychelles Rupee converted to Euros when someone purchases and for Euros to be paid into our Paypal Euro account.  Those Euros can then be transferred to our Seychelles Euro account.

I'm sorry for the confusion and I hope I can clarify. In order to receive a payment where the payer is using Seychelles Rupee - even if you are then expecting to receive it in another currency, PayPal would have to support the use of that currency. If it is an unsupported currency, then the request that you have cannot be fulfilled. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
