Payment refund

Hello, I have sent money to my brother via Paypal but I have used his university email and he cannot connect with the university email. I want a refund and want to send money to his normal email.

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. 

If this payment is showing as unclaimed in your account you may be able to cancel it. 

Here’s how to cancel an unclaimed payment:

1. Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
2. Click Activity near the top of the page.
3. Find the transaction you want to cancel.
4. Click Cancel under your unclaimed transaction.
5. Click Cancel Payment.

Remember that you can cancel only unclaimed payments. If your payment is complete, you’ll need to contact the recipient of the payment and request a refund.

Tip:

• You can only cancel an unclaimed payment that has a Cancel link next to it under "Order status/Actions."
• If you used a credit card to make your payment, it may take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your statement.
• If you used a transfer from your bank to make the payment the funds will be placed on your PayPal account balance before being auto swept back to the original funding source (bank).

If the payment is showing as complete it would mean that it has reached a PayPal account. If that is the case, your brother would be best to contact us by phone so we can locate the payment for him. He can find our phone number by clicking Help & Contact at the bottom of any PayPal page.

I have a similar issue, my brother dosent have a paypal account but I didn't know this when I sent him money but theres no way to cancel it. paypal arnt exactly getting back to me in a quick fashion (im deaf so I have to use the chat feature) 

he dosent have my money and I don't have my money so where is my money and how do I get it back? im terminally il I don't need the stress and cant afford to loss money.
