Payment refund if i was scammed

Hi guys, i paid almost 1.9k euro for lego to the man from bricklink to buy lego, we done deal oustide website and i send him money in as friend with all trust, he had 250 feedbacks der and i trusted him..he is not answering anymore, he smammed me.i know i should pay protection, i just trusted him, is der any way to get money back, or what should i do?i am just broke, please help me out

Sorry, if you paid as friends there is no paypal buyer protection. Always goods and services option to make purchases.

Try your credit card if that is how you paid. No guarantees though.
