PayPal and credit card - how it works

I hope this is not a repetition...

I am not sure how things have changed. I am to receive a payment to my paypal account through Ebay. My paypal is linked to my credit card.

The question is, will the money stay in my paypal account or appear at some point into my credit card statement?

I do not wish it to appear in my credit card statement but transfer it to another account and cash it in. Is this possible and okay to do?

Great question! 

The money would be sent to your PayPal balance. You can then use the balance to send payments or you can withdraw the balance.

Also you can't withdraw funds to a credit card in the UK. You can only withdraw to a linked bank account or debit card.
