PayPal Transaction Question

I noticed that when I made a transaction recently, I did not have sufficient funds in my PayPal account so it withdrew the funds from my bank account (this is OK), but it also recorded the vendor name in the withdraw note on the PayPal<=>Bank transaction (I wish it did not do this).  Its a small-town bank where I know many of the people.  They have no business seeing my transactions.

If I have sufficient funds in my PayPal account, will it still send the vendor name to my bank; or, will it just withdraw existing funds from my PayPal account and not have any interaction with my bank?

Thank you!

If you are paying a seller entirely from funds already cleared in your Paypal balance (and in the correct currency) then your bank would have nothing to do with the transaction.
