The PayPal cash card does not appear through PayPal checkout online, instead your PayPal balance does, that is, IF you have a PayPal balance available to use. The cash card draws from your available PayPal balance. It is not a credit line, nor does it draw money from your linked back account or credit/debit card.
If you don’t have an available PayPal balance to use, you must pay with the options shown to you or add money first to your PayPal balance with your linked bank account first. Then, you may use your PayPal balance to pay.
You’d primarily use the Cash card in-store or at websites that do not accept PayPal like Amazon where you enter the cash card info. Again, you still need to carry a PayPal balance to use it or the transaction is declined due to insufficient funds.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
