I sent a rent payment on March 1st. The money has been withdrawn from my bank account but the money is still showing as pending and my landlord is mad. Is it normal for a payment to pend almost a week now ?
If you sent it using the friends / family option so that your landlord didn't have to pay a fee then yes.
Paypal uses the slowest (cheapest) transfer options which is why if you are paying for an item paypal credit the seller upfront and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer BUT if you are using the f/f option or adding funds to your paypal account then this time its you that takes the wait and it goes as an echeque.
