Issues with receiving money

Friend sent me money like 2 days ago through paypal me and its not on my account yet, there is no summary & activity, money is removed from his bank account and there is no activity for the money he sent, also for me receiver.
Does it usually takes that much time for payment to be completed or, please help

I am having the same am having the same exact issue. Friend sent me money through paypal earlier today and still don't have it.

Please check if your PayPal email is confirmed. You can only start receiving payments after you confirm the email address on your PayPal account.

If you have confirmed your email address and still no payment received, it is possible that the sender sent the payment to the wrong email address, spelled your email incorrectly, or entered the incorrect phone number. Please confirm with the sender the exact spelling of the email address they sent the payment to. If it was sent to the wrong one, you can add and confirmed it. Once you confirm the email address, the payment will appear immediately.

If the payment was sent to your PayPal.me link, check with the sender if they have sent the payment to your correct link.
