Apologies, if this question has been posted before, but I would just like to find out some information.
I made an eBay purchase using a credit card (not through PayPal), but the seller contacted me saying that for whatever reason, they cannot fulfill the order and asked me if I'd like a refund. I accepted, and the seller made a refund straight through PayPal to my credit card.
Now, when I check my credit card's transactions, there is one transaction which is labeled as "Pending", which is the refund from the seller. I contacted my card issuer to ask when the funds will be in my account, but they replied that the transaction has gone through on their end, and it is now up to PayPal to decide when my funds will be in my credit card to use. Is that correct, and if so, how long does it generally take for PayPal to release the funds to my card?
Thanks in advance!

Refunds to cards can take up to 30 days - that's what PayPal will say - hopefully you will see the credit quicker than that.

Wow... 30 days seems quite ridiculous, especially considering they take the payments from you within seconds... Anyways, thanks for your answer. 🙂
