Help! I'm a newbie, I opened up a PayPal Account the other day and made a purchase no problem, its already been delivered etc. But today I'm trying to make a purchase and it keeps saying that I need to add a credit card number - i have my account linked with my chequing account, so now it won't let me make a purchase. What's up please help if you can. Thanks!
Hi @Winegodess. There are some merchants who have setup a payment receiving preference on their account. If the system is asking you to add a debit or credit card, it means that the merchant is not accepting payments coming from a checking account. I hope I have answered your question.
