Debit Card Refunds

How long does in actually take to receive the debit card refund.

The refund was completed 5 days ago and still not received anything back to my debit card account.

Why why does Paypal "hold onto" MY MONEY for such a long period of time, it took 6 seconds to come off my card.

Ive transferred my Paypal funds to my bank account and thats virtually instantly transferred????

Refunds to cards always take a while, I have a refund pending on my barclaycard from another company thats been 3 days already, depends on how quickly the card company process that refund. If its completed on Paypal then they have already passed on that refund to the card company.
