As eBay now refuse to pay into Paypal for their own corporate reasons, could PayPal look to get a IBAN / sort code to allow users who are quite happy with PayPal collecting eBay payments to get around this issue ?
Once Paypal has a sort code then allowing a PayPal account identifier (email address example redacted) to link to the account number to present is an internal software fix.
