My daughter is currently travelling in Indonesia, she set up her paypal account when she was traveling in Australia and no longer has the number attached to her account and can’t accept a transaction. Any suggestions on how she can access the transaction?

She'll have to call customer service as PayPal guest to try to get access, to prove she owns that account.
Click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US and select the PAYPAL GUEST option since you are locked out of that account. Do not be logged on to any account when accessing the guest option as paypal won’t discuss an account through another account.
PayPal accounts are country specific, they don't "globe trot" very well. Too many security measures in place and countries may have different account features. When you move about from one country to another, you must close the account and open a new one in the country you're going to be in with info that is based in that country. Otherwise, you must notify PayPal of your travel plans to have access to the account during the journey or just don't use your PayPal account while abroad.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
