paypal html button special instruction not working

I have a workin Add to Cart/View Cart and specified the ourchaser can add special instructions but I don't get a box to fill in.

How can I solve this?

Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Unfortunately, "Add special instructions to the seller:" note field is deprecated. This is the reason why your unable to see special instructions section. This is expected behaviour of the legacy PayPal Payments Standard Button product. 

Merchants can try using the "Add text field" , by following the below steps :

Login PayPal.com >> click on "settings icon" >> go to "Account settings" >> Website payments >>  PayPal buttons >> click "View your saved buttons" >> select the particular button >> click on "action" drop down >> "edit button" >> go to Step 1 >> toggle "Add text field" >> Enter name of text field (up to 30 characters) >> save changes >> copy and paste the updated HTML button code on your website.

Login PayPal.com >> go to direct link "https://www.paypal.com/buttons/" >> follow the above steps.

Once the above steps is done, customer/buyers can able to pass/enter the custom message to the particular item.
