Payment confirmation comes to a customer in Hebrew

I am testing purchases on my website using a credit card as a guest (i.e. without a PayPal account). The website uses a smart PayPal button and Python SDK in the backend. The customer (me in this case) receives the payment confirmation email in Hebrew. How do I make sure that this will not happen to future non-Hebrew-speaking customers?

More relevant facts:

  • At the time of the test transaction, I am physically located in Israel.
  • The primary currency on the account is ILS.
  • Refund confirmation emails come in English.

Good day@AlwaysLearning,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

It seems that the language used in payment email notifications will be aligned with the customer's location. It has been mentioned that refund confirmation emails are sent in English to rectify this issue and ensure consistency in language across all email notifications, I kindly request you to create an MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detailed information and error details in our MTS system. This will allow our technical support team to investigate and resolve the matter promptly

Sincerely,

Vaishnavi
