I have 2 Mastercard debit cards with PayPal. I added a backup funding source to the secondary card, but the system don't let me add a backup funding source for the primary card. Why is that? Is that right?

They actually want a CREDIT CARD on file. I called when I removed one not knowing, and they manually added, thinking it was a glitch. However, it was later determined that back up funding is restricted with Debit Cards. Call and ask if they can manually add you on the back end. Your limit will be $200, and they can't change that, unless you add a CC. However, you can use the Balance manager (many folks do), to increase your spending power.
