ATM fee for checking balance?

Does anyone know if Paypal charges a fee for checking my balance but not withdrawing money from an ATM.

Short, simple, sweet:  Nope!   

Now, if you do withdraw funds from an ATM with your PayPal debit card, PayPal will assess a $1.00 ATM charge.  The ATM you are at my assess an additional charge.

Over the counter cash signature withdrawals incur a $3.00 fee.
