Hi, I have had a refund which has put my PayPal credit into -£297. I don't owe any money on the account so now I'm in credit with my credit! I paid for something but it appears to have taken money out of the credit rather than the extra money that's in there if that makes sense?

Yes, that's how it works in the consumer credit industry. It uses the money owed to you instead of going through the trouble of issuing a refund in a couple of months/billing cycles. If you didn't buy anything for a couple of billing cycles then PayPal Credit would have eventually issued a refund and mailed you a refund cheque.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
