New seller on Ebay

I sold my first item on Ebay. Ebay says that the the buyer hasn't paid, but PayPal emailed me saying that I have cash. Yet, when I open PayPal, I have no record that any funds are pending. I know that the funds are on hold until I ship the item with a tracking label, however, I am unclear if the buyer has paid or not.

Be very careful, scammers send FAKE paypal emails to make it look as if they have paid.

Nothing in your paypal balance means you have not been paid and nothing on Ebay means they have not completed Ebay checkout.
