Can people see my adress if i pay an invoice

so i recently paid an invoice to someone and was confused when my adress came up under a subtitile *ship to * (my address) im not sure if the other person can also see my address or if this was a one way thing on the invoice

Well yes if you are paying an invoice then normally you are buying something so the seller would need to see your address to send the item to.
