Hi, I just have a quick question. Why when someone sends me money, it deducts $12 fro the amount sent.?

Your Paypal fee is deducted from your buyers payment before the remainder is credited to your Paypal account balance.

This is unlike sites like Ebay that invoice you on a monthly basis.
