I think you are referring to the old, physical PayPal security key which is no longer available. It has been replaced by 2-factor mobile authentication. If the security key is activated on your account it should still work though. To be on the safe side, log into your PayPal account to see what's set up (or not). There's a "security" tab in your settings. If the security key is still activated you'll find it there - you might scroll a little bit.
