Hi,
I've receive two emails from "<removed>" stating that the Access has been limited due to "noticed significant changes in your acount activity". Along with the info, there's a link attached as well which has been asked to click.
I checked my PayPal account and it doesn't have any such notifications. Is this email legit or is it a Phishing email ? I understand that the PayPal Customer Support is offline at the moment.
Please note - these emails were flagged as 'Junk' by the Email service provider.
Thanks in advance for any help on the matter.

If its a spoof, NEVER USE ANY LINK.
Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.
Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.
If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.

@kernowlass Thanks much!! Both the points mentioned are present in the email I received - Dear Client, a sense of urgency and an external link.
I was looking for this - spoof@paypal.com
Thanks again for your response. Cheers!
