I've called PP and they assure me that my bank won't charge me when I send money to a friend. I can't find anything in writing to that effect, and I know that my bank will charge for a "wire transfer". Does PayPal request payment from my bank as it would for a purchase transaction or as a cash transfer ?Has anyone been charged by their bank (or credit union) when sending money to family or friends? It is the weekend, so I can't call the bank to ask. Thanks..

I have not heard of banks charging you for using paypal however if you do not click friends and family paypal will charge goods and services.
