Hi there. I’m going through the weeks emails and noticed this one which made me concerned and wanted to bring it here for help on what to do or not do bc It’s looks real, but I’ve never even used this account for purschses and have no idea what this…. Here is the email… ********* PAYPAL Placed On: 06/01/2021 Request Number: #6928d958-f57c-4bf6-9acf Your request status has been changed. Dear Customer, Your order to Classic Collision has been received. Your account has been charged successfully. It may take a few hours for this transaction to appear in your account. If you have any question or you want to cancel this order call immediately to[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] Image Regards, Customer Relations Team PayPal Phone:[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] 1 Month Service $467 Total $467 Have any issue with this transaction? You have 24 hours from the date of the transaction to open a dispute. Call:[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]

If its a spoof then NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.
