Scam or not?

Someone is trying to send me money or so they say but then they sent me a screen shot of my account with 500$ but then says once I fill out the 25& ecode I’ll be paid what is an ecode or is this a big scam

Ecodes are simply gifts that can be sent through SMS, email address, etc. 

I am not sure of the details of what you are talking about, (ALso if that 25& is a code, please don't post it here.) but most of the time, sending money through paypal is very easy, and requires no code or gift card. Gift cards are commonly used in scams.

If you know this person personally, talk to them. However, if they are a stranger and just talk to you and say they can give you money, it is likely a scam, so please do not follow it any further.

YES ITS A 100% ONGOING COMMON SCAM.

As a seller you never have to send a buyer a code or anything for any reason to accept funds.
