That depends on many factors all listed in Paypals buyer protection policy for you to read so you can risk assess your transactions.
Legal (bottom right of Paypals pages) > user agreement > buyer protection.

Thanks for that reply but its pretty useless. I read the T+C,s and like most T+C,s they are to complicated for most to understand.

I wanted someone who as been in that position OR can understand my question.

You mention many factors, many factors were not mentioned on the T+C,s.

I said in my question, its on face book, its not a shop, its several items bought as one sale for £75. Paid as a purchase or service, not family and friends.

If you feel your reply was usefull you must be the guy that wrote the T+C,s

Sadly I can only direct you to the small section on buyer protection for you to read and risk assess your transactions, I can't change the writing so you can understand it.

PayPal needs to clarify this by giving definitive information re: "purchase protection when buying from private sellers"

You have buyer protection as long as you do NOT use the friends/family option.

HOWEVER that protection is not a 100% coverall and has terms and conditions and so that is why its best to actually read the small section yourself and risk assess your own transactions.
