Hi,
I've never used PayPal invoices option, neither for paying nor for receiving money. So now I'm about to purchase one rater expensive item. The seller (business entity in US) offers me to pay the invoice via PayPal, so that they could send me the item afterwards.
My question is is it safe, I mean I know if I'd have bought an item via amazon or ebay using PayPal, the PayPal transaction would be covered by the PP service - should the Item I'd bought arrived in non-working condition or not arrived at all. But what if I buy directly - will PayPal help me to get my money back if anything goes wrong?
Kind Regards, J.T.

That depends on many factors all listed in Paypals buyer protection policy for you to read and then you can risk assess your own transactions.
However bear in mind if it does arrive misdescribed AND paypal find in your favour as a result of a dispute then the onus is on you to return the item back to the seller trackable to prove delivery and at your own expense.
So make sure you have activated the below link to get some help with those return costs if that is what happens.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
