Thank you. I had wondered why Paypal was advertising Honey, when according to the reviews I have read on Trustpilot the app can interfere with your ability to purchase on some sites, often does not give you the best option, and usually does not work at all - while there is little or no customer service and nothing to explain what they do with the data they are gathering on you. Admittedly this was from the negative reviews but the positive reviews were suspiciously pat and from people who had only provided that review, no others. I am far from inclined to download the app, and have asked Papyal for their assurance that they have not passed any of my information to Honey.
