Missing payment

I recently sold an item on ebay for $200.

The item has been shipped and marked as sold and shipped.

Was then informed by paypal that i could not receive my money until my account was verified and this would take approximtely 3 weeks.

I was then informed my account was verified and funds had been placed into my account, but my paypal account balance is still $0.

Where's my money gone?

Sorry this sounds like a scam.

You NEVER send an item until the funds are SHOWING in your paypal account balance.

Even if they were on hold if you were a new seller they would still show in your balance.

Sounds as if the scammers told you that it would take 3 weeks to ???verify so you did not have a chance to contact the courier and stop the item being sent?
