Is this a fake paypal email?

I want to purchase a sculpture from a seller and need to send the payment. She gave me her "paypal" email, but how do I know its a true paypal email? I've never seen an email with numbers before.

If you pay and it shows as completed then it will have gone to an email address linked to a Paypal account.

If it isn't it will show as unclaimed.

However if you just pay to that email address without any description of what you are paying for then you may lose any dispute for 'item received but not as described', also make sure that email address is not a friends / family paypal.me link because you would have no buyer protection.

Ask the seller instead for an invoice OR money request detailing the EXACT item that you are paying for.

She just gave me an email. She also said not to put anything in th notes. I was going to click the PayPal option of “paying for goods”. I’ll ask for the invoice as you said. Thank you!
