How does fees work? Why it is not showing when the amount is deducted. PayPal charged me $10 without putting it on my receipt.

Hello it didn't show that I payed a fee of $10 for the transaction. Is the receiver the one should pay the payment? Shouldn't it be the one whos sending?

Sellers pay fees not buyers, your fee is deducted from your buyers balance before the rest is credited to your paypal account  balance.
