Hi,
Could someone help with an odd email, is this a tactic that scammers use?...
I recently made a digital download sale on my wix website through Paypal. I then received a suspicious email from Paypal two weeks later.
It had my full name and text asking for more information. It had no link in the main body of text but the usual footer containing
help, contact, security, why you received the email link (all linkable), copyright and address.
The email was sent from <removed> but when I hit the reply, to check, I noticed the name of someone xxxxxxx xxxx via PayPal in the reply info.
It seemed to still be linked to <removed> ?
Any advice would be welcome please?

If your PayPal account is not showing corresponding alert notifications or requests for info as the email, then it’s a scam/phishing attempt.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I assume the scam would work if I hit the help or contact link at the bottom of the page?
