Hello,

I have sold a car on Shpock but the buyer wants to pay me by paypal and has asked me for my paypal details. I have no idea what information to provide so the money lands in my account.

Is there an account number to give him or is it done by name?

Any ideas?

Be very careful lots of car scams about via fake paypal emails.

Do not be fooled into doing anything if the funds are not in your balance, especially if the fake email tells you that you have to pay a courier upfront to collect the car before your funds are released.

Also you have no seller protection for motor vehicles.

If you still want to go ahead the you can send them a  money request or invoice to their paypal account OR give them your email address to use the send money > goods services option.
