I created a paypal account to receive money , I was just wondering if there any monthly fees taken Or if I had to keep up with any payments to keep my account activated Thank you !

No, any fees are deducted from your buyers payment as soon as they pay and the remainder credited to your paypal account balance.

FEES are listed in paypals user agreement.

You can then withdraw those funds to any linked bank account.
