Hello, I have a burning question: why should I use PayPal to send money to friends, or even businesses, and get charged a fee? There are so many services out there that don't charge. Generally, just wondering why PayPal beats my credit card when buying, or when sending money using other "no fee" parties?

Buyers don't pay fees.
You only pay a fee if you are sending a 'gift' payment and fund it with a card.
Apart from that a lot of sellers are private sellers and so can only receive payment via paypal.
Also how many 'mates' do you have that can accept credit card payments? If they can then by all means use a card.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
