I am a little confused...
When someone buys something from ebay, Paypal remove fees before the amount is credited to the balance. So why do I get an invoice from ebay for more fees being taken out?

Also note ebay hand over all the money to paypay, so paypal charge a fee on the whole amount and then ebay bill you! Double whammy.
Because if ebay took there fee and then passed the remainder on, paypal would get less to charge fees on!

FEES are listed in paypals user agreement, if you click on any transaction in your paypal account for a payment received the fee is listed on that details page.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you!! So my fees are associated with sales from eBay. If I see a charge on Paypal, when I click on the charge, that is $1.71 or .47 cents...does that include what eBay charges or is that only what Paypal charges? Thank you. Joli

Ebay and Paypal are 2 separate companies.
You pay Ebay fees for listing and selling your item.
You pay paypal for being able to receive online payments including from credit cards. You would pay Paypal those fees from buyers however or wherever you listed your items ie private sales via Paypal OR another website etc etc.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
