My employer is looking into accepting PayPal for charitable donations. I'm gathering information for our finance department and one question they asked is, is the fee taken off each transaction or as a lump sum on a monthly basis? If a person donates $10, do we receive the $10 or $10 minus the fee? Credit card fees are taken on a monthly basis so it is easy for reconciliation purposes, so they are hoping it is similar to this.
