I am trying to send money to a friend and using my back account. It wants to charge me 4.99 I thought it was free or am I doing something wrong

If you are using the friends / family option then it is free from a bank account OR are you trying to fund it via a debit card in which case their may be a fee (country dependent).

Yes I am doing friends and bank account. But they are in Canada. I also change currency to both of us USA. I also thought Canada was free too. Thank you for replying
