Customer Service isn’t hard

Why is it so hard to communicate with customer service? It gets harder and harder every day with all online companies and brick and mortar companies are getting just as bad. First you have to search your topic and you get a list of articles, if that doesn’t work they try to redirect you to FAQs. If you haven’t given up they hide a tiny link to a the third contact us but it actually shows you a way to chat. Then you get a bot. You have to pester the bot for a while to get an actual person. Then you might get help. Look at this community. I only ended up here because I was looking fir a way to just email PayPal. My only option was to chat and it was “after hours” so I couldn’t even chat. There were no other options. PayPal is one that decided to put it on the users. What a creative idea, that no one will notice is actually bs. Pretty sorry for a company that manages people’s money.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
