I looked around and found several responses that might answer my question but none that do specifically.
I'm starting a podcast in the near future as a companion to my website - I'd like to be able to accept tips or donations, but I'm not a non-profit or a charity. I already have a PayPal account and have for years.
- Should I set up a separate account for the podcast endeavor?
- Is the "donate" button appropriate or is it reserved for non-profits, charities, etc.?
- Any other advice?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

It is my understanding that you must be an approved charity to receive donations. I don't know requirements regarding tips.

Thank you for your response -
That's how it looks in some places and others say something entirely different. I just can't find anything concrete.
