my paypal email notifications are being sent to the wrong email address

I just went in and changed my primary email address in my paypal profile.  As a matter of fact, I *removed* the other email, so there is only one email address in my paypal profile, and that is my new one.

 

And yet, I am still getting paypal mail sent to me old email address.  I am completely at a loss for what to do. 

 

My new email address is the only email I have under My Profile > My Personal Info > email, my old email was actually removed, and yet, I am still getting email from paypal at my old email address.

 

Anybody know how to fix this problem?

tkoxxx11- First, welcome to the boards! Lemme take a swing at this.

 

The only possibility I can think of off the top of my head:

 

In your payment buttons, are you using your merchant ID or your email address? If you're using your email, even though you changed the primary email on your account, the button wouldn't reflect that and would continue to send the notifications to the incorrect email.

 

Check that out and let us know if that fixes the problem!
