Primary email address not in confirm email address window

When receiving payments asked to confirm email address.  My primary email address doesn't show.  Do I confirm on wrong email address and it will go to the confirmed or what?

If your buyer sent payment to an email address which you can't confirm, you will need to ask the buyer to cancel the payment and resend it to your correct PayPal email address.

If your buyer sent payment to an email address which is not linked to your PayPal account, you can add that email address to your PayPal account profile.  The payment will show up in your PayPal account activity as soon as you confirm the newly added email address.
