Personal email shows up on business invoices

Good evening,

 

I am brand-new to Paypal as a partner for my business but I have had a personal account for quite a while. Despite a very extensive and clearly written Help section, I never quite seem to find the complete answer to any of my questions--there always seems to be a critical detail left out.

 

Here is the question I am wrestling with now. I have upgraded my personal account to a business account. During the upgrade, I provided my business name and business email for invoicing. However, whenever I generate a test invoice, it always appears with my PERSONAl email address--not my business email. I tried manually adding the business email to my account, confirmed it, and made it "primary." Still, any test invoice I generate shows my personal email address.

 

Do you have any advice please? I have been working on adding email invoicing to my business for several hours now.

Congratulations on upgrading to a business account!  When you are sending invoices to customers are you using the invoice feature through PayPal directly, or is the invoice the customer receives to pay for an eBay auction/listing?

Thanks for your attention, Amy. I am not an ebay user. I am using the Paypal invoice function. I hope to send invoices for my small business via email.
