No more Payment Notifications?

Has this happened to anyone else? I've always received email notifying me when when I've gotten a payment from a buyer. A few days ago, without any explanation or warning, they've stopped coming. Now, if I want to know if I've been paid, I have to log onto PayPal and look at my account or eBay to check the status of my sold items. Did I miss a memo, or what?

If enough people call in they will figure out what's wrong and fix it. Or am I dreaming?

Sorry for the confusion and mixed messaging that I created in my last post.  Let me clarify: We had an issue where payment notifications were being delayed for up to 12 hours from about June 30th to July 2nd or so.  But they were arriving.  Not receiving notifications at all is a different....issue....that we're still trying to sort out.  Unfortunately I do not have a timeframe on a resolution for that issue.  But once I see some movement on that, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

I STILL receive no notifications when my debit card it used or authorized.  It defeats the reason I started using it.  I'm better off trusting my bank to do it right... They didn't which is why I turned to PayPal.  MISTAKE!!!

We DO receive notification of payments received.  Seem to be timely.  Text alerts, slower, but arriving.  Debit card transactions NOT being sent here either.  Heaven help PayPal if our card is used unauthorized and we don't know about it.  That's what the alerts are for.  Without them, PayPal has to take on the liability for any mishaps.  Please get on this and fix it or you're going to have to put someone in charge of manually emailing every notification out.  Either way, it's on you, not us.

I have not received text message or email notifications for my son's student account for a few weeks now.   When will this be fixed?

Hey all.

 

As the email that martin46532 sent out says, the email notifications not being received for Debit Card purchases is a known issue that we're actively working on resolving.  I don't wanna give you an estimated fix date then dash your hopes if it doesn't work by that point, but know that we understand it's annoying and we're going to get it fixed ASAP.

I've been having this problem for a couple of weeks. I'm still not receiving any account activity/payment notifications via email.  This is one of paypal's best options. It gives paypal an edge over other services. I'd hate to see it go away.
