How do I change the name of my business in my profile?

I have been trying to change the name of my business in my profile for months!! Not my business contact name, but the actual name of my business and there seems to be no way to edit this? Help, anyone!!??

How do I change the name of my business?

Here's how to change the name of your business:

1. Log in to your PayPal account and click Profile at the top of the page.
2. Click Business Information in the Account Information column.
3. Click Change name.
4. Select Business Name Change (business name).
5. Click Continue to complete the instructions.

when I click on Profile, and go to More Options - I have the option to Update my Business Information - I click on Update, it takes me to a new page with my Business Information (including my Business Name) = I hit the gold Edit button at the bottom, go to a new page where I can edit everything but my Business Name - Help! I have sold this business to my former troupe members, and I want to use my new Business name with this account

It sounds like you have the updated profile view. These are the steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Profile" near the top of the page.
3. Click "Update" in the Business Information section.
4. Click "Change Name."
5. Select "Business Name Change (business name)" and click "Continue."
6. Enter your business name and click "Continue."

Olivia, I have the same problem.. Your instructions work for me up to a point..  there is NO edit button to change the business name.   I need to change mine as well.  😞

Hi HGrimmett, welcome to the forums!

If you click Change Name next to the Business Contact Name, it will offer the option to change the Contact Name -or- the Business Name. I can see how that would be a little confusing if you're expecting the Change Name link to be on the Business Name line.

you can not change the name of your web site un less you get a nother site the same with a nother name
