Virtual Terminal

I have the virtual terminal and it is excellent.

I'd like to pay the $35CAD monthly fee by credit card to keep my accounting process more simple.

Can this be done?

Welcome to the boards!

The Virtual Terminal runs off of a billing agreement, which can be edited in the Profile under "My Preapproved Payments." 

In your Profile, you would be able to set up what funding sources could be used for this particular agreement.  However, there is one caveat - if the balance is available, it will always be used first.  In order to get to your card, you'll want to keep a zero balance around billing time.

When you add a user to your Virtual Terminal how to they log in to use the virtual terminal?

found my answer by browsing online. I wish the User giude would have mentioned that added users just use the regular log in page and that they enter the given user name and password to log in and not an email address. Was just thrown off by that.

when PayPal will fix this problem with Virtual termianal ?

I have been trying to get someone attention to fix this issues and create a seperate account for Virtual terminal only that only those transactions will be in Rolling Reserve (Which is 90 days in not acceptable) not all transactions that are flowing to the account it is not acceptable that someone with PayPal account when pays me portion of this goes to rolling reserve

when PayPal will stand up and fix this issue ?

Someone help sell me on virtual terminal. What does it give me that other similar products does. They want a 30% rolling reserve, that evidently is applied to everything on your account, including paypal to paypal transactions. the $70+ card reader only enters the card info, but you still have to fill in all the rest, so really thereader is useless.

I'm on the fence, the rates are similar to bank of america. the monthly fee is the same. the only difference is, bank of america does not hold 30% per transaction, and charges me a monthly extra fee for the card machine.

Please help, I really want to find a reason not to use BOA.
