i try to add funds  to my paypal account , transfer from my bank  and i get this error anytime :Things don't appear to be working right now Sorry, something’s not right. Please try again later.

 

 

i try different  amounts , same error , i try 1$ , didn't work.

Paypal is 'country specific' so advice often depends on what country you are in. As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help at the moment.

The answer "you don't have the country so we cannot help you" is not the solution to this problem. I am having this same problem but I cannot find a solution in all of the "solutions".

If you don't say what country you are in then we can't help can we?

The advice or contact info for one country may be totally different for another.

By all means don't say what country you are in if you don't want to but then its pointless asking for advice.

Hello, I have the same problem as the first person who posted. I live in the United States and I am getting the same message when trying to get money from my bank account to my Paypal.

This is a really old post but the real solution to this problem cannot be solved online or on paypal's website. People who have this issue have to call customer support to further verify their identity and account. It will work if you verify your identity with customer support. I had the same issue and it was solved by calling customer support about the problem.

Same issue (I'm in the U.S.) and calling support is the only way to temporarily solve it.  They asked me a bunch of security questions and questions from my credit report and then allow the next add money to go through.  Later when I try to add money again, it tells me once again "Things don't appear to be working right now".  I then have to call customer support and repeat the security questions process.  Today, they did not offer that option and went back to the standard answer of waiting 72 hours and try again.  Waiting 72 hours never works by the way.  So far I have encountered this issue every single time I have tried to add funds.  I have been told the following:

 

  • Wait 48 hours - did not work
  • Wait 72 hours just to be sure - did not work
  • Wait for your last add money transaction to be marked as complete on PayPal side - Did not work
  • Answer security questions and we will allow this add money to go through - worked twice
