withholding payment

I have been with eBay/paypal for over 12 years. I bought a  house in Hungary and let eBay know my new address.

I then found that although I have the same uk bank a/c that i have had for years in the uk it has now been

transfered to a Hungarian language account and I don't have enough knowledge of the Hungarian language to read the messages.

My sales proceeds have been suspended and I am being billed by eBay for direct fee payments, something that has never happened before .

What can I do ????? thanks David.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved.

My advice is just file a small claim court.PayPal never going to show up and automatically loos.If you keep doing this they will be get tired to keep paying a fines($6000.00) max in MI country,that is the only way to teach this unlawful company

We have a problem that PayPal is withholding our funds and not allowing to transfer to our bank because they say our website is not PCI Compliant. We don't have PayPal connected to any website and only use it as a Virtual Terminal to process payments. PayPal will not accept that PCI compliance is irrelevant and will not release our funds.  We have used this service for 10 years. It has not been connected to any website for 6 years. Due to the high level of charges from PayPal, we use Stripe and Worldpay for processing any payments from our websites. We do not have the same problem from other companies.
