i cannot use paypal to pay fligh tickets online

I am trying to buy tickets online anf the website takes me to paypal where i am supposed to choose credict card or bank account, yet paypal does not allow me adding my bank account which is actually my preferred payment method

It can be because you don't have a credit card linked(?) for such a purchase which would need a credit card linked to PayPal account as back up so PayPal can do an instant bank transfer (PayPal fronts the money ahead to the seller immediately and waits for your bank payment to clear).

Some merchants don't accept bank account only payments which processes as eChecks (no credit card linked to PayPal account) because that would take too long to clear and for merchant to get paid, causing delay in booking and delivering your ticket.
